Every print. Every exchange. As it happens.
Most platforms show you a delayed, aggregated view of the tape. The Options Flow scanner ingests raw data from every U.S. options exchange via direct feeds — no aggregation lag, no delayed relay. What you see is what's actually happening in real time across the full landscape of options trading.
The scanner algorithm runs continuously, applying proprietary logic to identify unusual options activity and high-impact trades. Volume spikes, aggressive sweeps, cross-exchange patterns — all flagged and categorized before they appear in your feed.
Live tape ingestion
Direct feed from all U.S. options exchanges. Every print with premium, strike, expiry, and exchange context attached.
Scanner algorithm
Proprietary algorithm flags high-probability trades from unusual patterns. Running continuously so nothing slips through.
Intraday & Net Flow
Intraday and Net Flow views give you both the moment-by-moment tape and the directional summary. A real-time leaderboard highlights the most active underlyings so you can see where volume is concentrating before the broader market reacts. This is where unusual options activity often reveals itself first.
Feed Toggle
Switch between two curated views of the tape. Both update every second.
The full feed — every notable trade from all U.S. exchanges. Maximum visibility across the entire tape.
Curated subset filtered for high relative volume impact and buyer conviction. Less noise, higher signal density.
Signal Strength
Every trade scored 0–100 measuring how unusual it is across multiple dimensions of market activity. Higher scores mean more unusual characteristics aligned, and those are trades worth investigating.
Five filters. Each one surfaces a different edge.
Five research-backed presets, each designed to surface a different type of informed activity. Use one or combine several to match your strategy.
Aggressive Entry
Strong buyer urgency — paying above the ask on near-term options.
OTM Sweet Spot
The strike range where informed positioning tends to concentrate.
Volume Surge
Volume dramatically above historical norms — unusual accumulation.
High Conviction
Multiple institutional signals aligning simultaneously.
Repeat Activity
Same contract traded multiple times — deliberate accumulation.
Pair with Quick Filters — 16 one-tap chips for rapid segmentation by trade type, premium, DTE, and more.
How traders use the scanner
Built for every type of active options trader.
Day Traders
Watch Aggressive Flow and Top Active Tickers for intraday momentum. When unusual size hits a ticker you're watching, you know before the chart does.
Swing Traders
Filter for large premium sweeps with 2-6 week DTE. When institutional money positions ahead of a catalyst, the Options Flow scanner sees it first.
Position Traders
Use Unusual Flow with longer-dated expirations to find high-conviction setups that develop over time. Follow the same signals driving larger institutional positioning.

Frequently Asked Questions
An options flow scanner monitors every options trade printed across all U.S. exchanges in real time and surfaces unusual or high-conviction activity. Options Flow ingests raw tape data directly from exchange feeds — no aggregation lag — and applies a proprietary algorithm to flag trades worth investigating before they appear in your feed.
Options Flow connects directly to live exchange feeds and processes every print as it occurs. Each trade arrives with premium, strike, expiry, exchange, and order type attached. The scanner algorithm runs continuously to score and categorize trades, so what you see in the feed reflects what's actually happening in the market at that moment — updated every second.
Options Flow is the full feed — roughly 9,000 notable trades per day from all U.S. exchanges, giving you maximum visibility across the entire tape. Unusual Activity is a curated subset filtered for high relative volume impact and buyer conviction, averaging around 800 trades per day. Less noise, higher signal density. You can toggle between both at any time.
Signal Filters are five preset filters that each surface a distinct type of informed activity: Aggressive Entry (buyer urgency, paying above the ask), OTM Sweet Spot (the strike range where informed positioning concentrates), Volume Surge (volume dramatically above historical norms), High Conviction (multiple institutional signals aligning), and Repeat Activity (same contract traded multiple times — deliberate accumulation). You can activate one or combine several.
